Hero Online
Hero Online is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game where players have the opportunity to experience Asian myth and folklore in a martial arts environment. Players will encounter characters and monsters based on Asian martial fiction.
By combining the motif of Asian culture with many unique features, players will experience a game like no other in Hero Online!
Characters: When a player begins the game, they will have to choose one of four characters: The Ruthless Blade, Overseer of the Sky, The Piercing Eye, or the Elegant Mystic. Each character will have his/her own strength, weakness, weapon proficiencies, and stats.
Classes: There are four basic classes per character to choose from: Warrior, Hunter, Physician, and Assassin. Each class has two upgrades that it can undergo allowing for more skills and better class-specific skills. For every progression, characters must complete certain quests that will reward them with skill books and more. For instance, an Assassin can become a Slayer, who can them become a Shinobi but only after completing their class quests.
Skills: Players will have the option to pick and choose certain skills to either focus on whether it be aggressive skills, passive skills, or both. When it comes to choosing skills, players can pick or choose which skills to equip depending on their need since skills are based on books. Players will have 10 book slots, and will be able to allocate which slot has which book. Since a skill book could have up to 3 skills, players could potentially have a whole arsenal of skills or a small amount. Skill books can be found from talking to npcs, fighting monsters, undergoing quests, or trading from other players.
Gameplay: Every combative action, from normal attacks to special moves, looks like it was taken from a martial arts movie. Even the modes of transportation within Hero Online are fun to look at! Players can move with incredible speeds, fly over buildings, or walk on air. Not to mention being able to ride and fight on mounts!
Pet System: One of the most impressive and unique aspect of Hero Online is its elaborate Pet System. In Hero Online, there are two types of pets, mountable and non-mountable pets. Non-mountable pets have the ability to help their masters in combat both in fighting and defending using a special AI system that the player sets. In contrast, mountable pets can’t attack, but they can carry their masters as well as allow them to fight while carrying them. Pets can be obtained by either purchasing them through an npc or by taming wild animals using hunter skills.
Items: Items will be very important in the game since a martial artist’s weapon is a symbol of their pride and skill. Because of this, Hero Online contains an incredible array of item variation in addition to an intricate enchant/disenchant. This is of course on top of an immersive crafting system where PvP is required/optimal to obtain necessary materials.
Game Content: The storyline of Hero Online was created by a collaboration of renowned authors known for their work in Asian Martial Arts Fiction. Players will actually have the opportunity to take part in the story and see how it progresses as they play the game. Through story-specific quests and game content, Hero Online has the feel of a single player RPG where the character must solve the mystery and fight the bad guys while still maintaining the essence of an MMORPG.

What Is DOTA?
DOTA, DOTA mean Defences of the Ancients, it is a custom map made for Warcraft III: Frozen Throne.
DOTA is a team strategy where players can choose sides and his own hero or the host can random choose sides and hero. There are two sides on the games, Sentinel and Scourge.
Players on the same side fight the other players on the opposing side to win the game.
The objective of the games is to destroy the enemy’s base together with AI controlled units
called creeps.Heroes start at level 1 and levels up to level 25. Heroes level up during
the game whilekilling opposing heroes and creeps. Heroes gain skill when they
gain additional levels.
DOTA can be played as starting 1v1 up to 5v5. This could be against human players or
AI controlled heroes which can be played on DOTA AI maps.DOTA is more on strategy than
individual play. Even though players have their own heroes, it is their teamwork that
is very important to winning the game. Although factors like individual
skills also matter, a very good player with team mates that doesn’t care a lot about
the team can’t just win by himself against all his opponents (unless of course he’s
far too good and his opponents are new to the game).

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
The original Final Fantasy VII was one of the primary reasons why I purchased a PlayStation back in 1999 — I'd been introduced to console RPGs a year prior with Chrono Trigger on the SNES and couldn't wait to see what 32 bits and multimedia brought to the table. As you might imagine, I wasn't at all disappointed by Cloud and company.
However, the FFVII spin-offs which have been trickling out over the last year in celebration of the original's tenth anniversary have been, at best, mediocre. Though gamers had the highest of hopes for the recent PSP release, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, most weren't holding their breath.
Half action, half RPG, all Final
Fantasy. It's hard to put a label on Crisis Core's gameplay — although (graciously) not an attempt at action like last year's Dirge of Cerberus, this title's near real-time combat makes it difficult to label it a traditional role-playing game either. Players take control of Zack Fair as he rises through the ranks, beginning as a mere Soldier Second Class and eventually becoming a "hero." Although Crisis Core won't be remembered as one of the greats in the Final Fantasy franchise, it does introduce some interesting new play mechanics and features a structure that's perfect for portable play.
Much like the game on which it's based, customization in Crisis Core arrives in the form of Materia. These crystal baubles come in every color under the rainbow, and possession grants their holder everything from access to spells and abilities to stat increases. As Zack levels up with experience, so to do the Materia he carries. There's no set formula for equipping your character, and the options are numerous indeed — specializing can be powerful, but a lot can also be said for a balance of abilities. Certain enemies are more susceptible to physical attacks, whereas others are highly vulnerable to a particular magical element. Only through trial and error will one discover these weaknesses — don't be afraid to experiment with a variety of different Materia.

Lord of the Rings
The 2006 game Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 (BME2) brings us, the long awaited sequel to the 2004 hit game and it looks like it won't disappoint all the fans of the first game.
First of all, the look and feel of the game is very, very similar to the previous title, except some minor changes to the interface, which, to me, isn't a bad thing. Why mess with "perfection", right?
So, what changes in BME2?
Well, even though the two are very similar, there are some major changes. In this game we can control a lot more characters from he Tolkien universe. Characters that didn't even appear in the Lord of the Rings films, appear in this game, for example, Tom Bombadil, Glóin and many, many others from both sides.
Another change is the addition of a new game mode, War of the Ring, where you can battle it out on a game board...something very Risk style. The ultimate objective is to conquer all of Middle Earth, one province at a time. Like I said, something very Risk style. The only difference from Risk is that when two armies collide you can choose between fighting yourself in real time or just let the computer automatically generate the outcome of the battle. Anybody who's played Shogun: Total War or some of the sequels should know what to expect.

Shaiya ( Gameplay )
1.Difficulty Ranking
A very cool thing they did to this game is that they added a difficulty that you get to pick.
Easy - very usless. Max lvl is 30 and there is no specials. weaker then normal difficulty.
Normal - Stronger then Easy players. Max lvl is 60. gain 5 stats per lvl and 3 skills per lvl. You should basicly start on normal.
Hard - Must get to lvl 50 on normal mode to unlock hard mode. gain 7 stats per lvl and 4 skills per lvl. much stronger then normal lvl players but you have to gain x6 more Exp then normal players
Ultimate - I didnt reach this lvl yet so im not too sure on this but i think its 9 stats per lvl and 5 skills per lvl. the things im sure of are that if you reach this.. you can be called God. Very difficult killing an ultimate character BUT there is a consquence to that power... if you happen to die, your character gets DELETED unless a priest resurects you. i think its a fair price to pay to battle for the position of God.
2. PVP
Basicly you have to enter portals ( they have lvl restrictions like onl lvls 1-15 is the first pvp zone) to go in the pvp zone. Once you enter your race will be on the "borderlands" and will engage in combat against the other race. you must fight your way to victory. There are more things to explain about pvp but i r lazy so jus play the game and figure it out or youtube some vids.

Evolving ( Dragon Sky )
Dragon Sky also boasts a unique "Evolving Storyline" feature. Allow me to quote this from the article at Aeria Games, "Accomplish the many quests in DragonSky to prove that you are a mighty warrior. Evolving Storyline that changes and develops as you level up and become a stronger fighter." Maybe this will allow you to complete the storyline at any level, so you don't have to grind to continue. That would truely be a unique and wonderful addition, and maybe something that other MMO's can pick up on. Dynamic quests that level as you do, and adjust the mobs that need to be killed to your level. That would be terrific really.

Hunter Class
With World of Warcraft’s first hero class under development for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, there are many speculations on the possibilities of the next hero class that will make it to the game. The Demon Hunter seems to be one of the most popular choices for the next hero class. Here’s what CM Bornakk has to say.
The Death Knight was chosen as the first hero class because it fits well with the Wrath of the Lich King theme but also because it was a popular figure in Warcraft lore. The Demon Hunter is definitley another one making it a nice choice for the next hero class. In terms of addressing a need however, the Demon Hunter would only seem to add to the several dps classes already in the game. The Death Knight will fill the need for more tanks. From a needs point of view I think it’s better for the next hero class to be a healer. Of course I won’t complain if the Demon hunter eventually makes it. We’ll just have to see how this pans out when the right time comes.

Demo Time
This recent article on Shacknews discusses the study that recommended publishers release trailers for their games rather than demos. That may wind up being a good choice for console games where cash cows are their biggest and mediocre titles still manage to sell millions of copies, but it's a horrible strategy for the PC. For one, people need to make sure the game runs fine on their computer, a problem console gamers don't have. But beyond that, "emergent gameplay" is a really important thing for PC gamers, and that can only be created if people play - it will work in a demo, but can't be stuffed into a trailer.
Go ahead and release trailers, but if your game is good, we'll really notice it in the demo. If you're making an MMO, even one that's going into stores for $50, get us a trial. You need to pull those people in, and that's a good way to do it.

Dota (Warcraft)
On the other hand, Dota (Warcraft) is a strategy game where you’re controlling the character from above. See the difference?
Okay it’s not about the game I’m trying to point out. It’s the character of person whose playing it. From my observation throughout the “Teja ” (it’s a Game tournament at my campus), there a huge contrast between those who’s playing Counter Strike and Dota. The most obvious one is, Malay is playing Counter Strike and Chinese playing Dota.

World Of Warcraft
World of Warcraft producer J. Allen Brack recently told Eurogamer that they might at some point do a graphics overhaul for the game. He goes on to say that it hasn't really helped some games in the past (definitely true - Everquest's overhaul alienated players with slower PCs and introduced unpopular new character models) and that they need to be really careful about how they do it. It's likely that the game would likely get higher quality character models and new textures could be painted on everything, like items, characters, dungeons and terrain, but the actual landscape wouldn't very likely change. Then there's the possibility of keeping all the old graphics and models in, and the fact that WoW is already up past 7GB on people's hard drives. While I always thought the game's graphics could have used just a little more oomph in the technology department, half of its appeal comes in its low system requirements. I wouldn't expect a graphical revamp anytime soon.
